How we develop software at Codeless
All software developed by Codeless partners uses the modeler and the designer. An analyst who works with codeless gets his or her specifications by developing a prototype in collaboration with the user. This is usually accomplished very quickly: the software is developed on the spot while the user sits next to the analyst. On the basis of a few rounds of interactive prototyping, the analyst develops a set of rough specifications for the software and submits it to the customer for approval.
Once the customer has approved the specifications, the analyst reuses the prototype to begin entering the additional specifications. After they have been entered, the application is tested, and the customer can then log in using smart client technology to test it out. The initial testing can be as extensive as desired, after which the customer provides his feedback. Updates are instantly applied from this feedback, and the customer can continue testing. Only after the customer gives the final green light, will the application be installed. Then users are trained, data can be imported using Excel import, and a robust application is ready to be used.
